பா: இந்த blog-அ ஏன் ஆரம்பிச்சீங்க?

ப: நல்ல கேள்வி. இது மாதிரி அறிவுபூர்வமா கேள்வி கேட்கறதுனாலதான் நான் உன்னை P.A வா select செஞ்சேன். ஹி..ஹி..ஹி.

நான் இந்த blog-அ ஏன் ஆரம்பிச்சேன்னா அது என்னோட சின்ன வயசு ஆசை.

பா: இந்த blog-oda purpose என்ன?

ப: ஒரு சிந்தனை சிற்பியோடா சிந்தனைகளை ஒரு சின்ன மூளைக்குள்ள அடைச்சி வைக்க எனக்கு விருப்பம் இல்லை.

ம: என்னது சிந்தனை சிற்பியா, அப்ப "ரகசியமானது காதல்" பாட்டு போட்டது நீதானா?

ப: டேய், நீ too much-ஆ பேசுற.

பா: ஆரம்பிச்சி ஒரு அஞ்சாறு மாசம், யாருமே படிக்காம blog-அ ஓட்டினீங்களாமே.

ப: அப்படின்னு யார் சொன்னது. ஒரு blog நடத்தறது எவ்ளோ கஷ்டம் தெரியுமா?. எவ்ளோ blog படிக்கனும், எவ்ளோ comments படிக்கனும், நாட்டாமை blog-la comments படிக்கறதுக்கே எவ்ளோ நேரம் ஆகும் தெரியுமா, எவ்ளோ comments போடனும், first comment போட்டா மறக்காம புளியோதரையும், சுண்டலும் கேட்கனும், அப்படி கேக்களன்னா பிரியா அவங்களே சாப்ட்டுடறாங்க.....இவ்ளோ கஷடத்துக்கு நடுவுல நம்ம blog-ல post போடனும். ஒரு post , ஒரு post போட்டுபாரு அந்த கஷ்டம் தெரியும்.

ம: கடைசி வரைக்கும் கேட்ட கேள்விக்கு பதில் சொல்லவே இல்லையேடா....

பா: எப்ப உங்களுக்கு comments வர ஆரம்பிச்சித்து

ப: நான் படுற கஷ்ட்த்த பார்த்துட்டு நண்பர் பாலா, முதல் comment போட்டு ஆரம்பிச்சி வச்சார். அந்த நல்ல நேரம், அதுக்கு அப்புறம் Karthik mams, country tortoise Syam, Filbert, karuthu kandamami Subha, MS, தெரிந்தும் தெரியாத Vaishav, தோழி சசி எல்லாருடைய நட்பும் கெடச்சது.

இப்ப அந்த வட்டம் பெரிதாகி, தோழர்கள் ambi, dreamzz, golmaal Gopal, Prasanna, deepikadiyaan Karthik தோழிகள் g3, பொற்கொடி, Prithz, Priya, Pavithra, Marutham, Oliveoyl ன்னு போயிட்டிருக்கு. அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் என் நன்றியை சொல்ல கடமை பட்டிருக்கிறேன்.

ம: இவங்க எல்லாம் போன ஜென்மத்துல பெரிய பாவம் பண்ணியிருக்காங்கடா....இல்லாட்டி இப்படி ஒரு சோதனை அவங்களுக்கு வருமா...

பா: எவ்ளோ குப்பயா எழுதினாலும், எல்லாரும் நல்லா இருக்குன்னு comment போடுறாங்களே, காசு கீசு குடுத்து comment போட சொல்றீங்களோ?

ம: ஹா ஹா ஹா. நல்ல கேள்வி. இது மாதிரி அறிவுபூர்வமா கேள்வி கேட்கற்துனாலதான் அவன் உன்னை P.A வா select செஞ்சியிருக்கான்.

ப: பாவம் புள்ளனு அவங்களா பாத்து நல்லா இருக்குன்னு சொல்லிட்டு போறாங்கம்மா . அன்பும்மா அன்பு !!!

பா: கடைசியா மக்களுக்கு எதாச்சும் சொல்ல விரும்பறீங்களா?

ப: இந்த வலைப்பதிவை படித்த, படிக்கும், படிக்க போகும் அனைவருக்கும் என் இதயத்தின் ஆழத்தில் இருந்து நன்றிகள் பல.

ம: போட்டாண்டா ஒரு senti...இதனால தாண்டா நீ உயிரோட இருக்கே.

என்னைப்பற்றி என்ன weird-a எழுதுவது என்று தெரியவில்லை. பல நேரங்களில் நான் செய்வது எல்லாமே weird-ஆகத்தான் இருக்கும்.

மக்களே, நல்ல தெளிவா புரிஞ்சி இருக்குமே.

ரவுத்திரம் பழகு-ன்னு பாரதி சொன்னதோட அர்த்தம் நல்லா தெரிஞ்சி இருந்தாலும், நடைமுறை வாழ்க்கையில் அதை நான் பயன் படுத்துவதே இல்லை.

இது வரமா......சாபமா.....????

கனவுகள் பெரிய கனவுகள்

நான் கனவு காண்பதே கொடுமையான விஷயம் தான். இதில் கொடுமையான கனவுக்கு எங்கே போவது karthik mams.

என்னோட கனவுகள் பற்றி எப்பவோ இங்கே எழுதியிருக்கேன். அதில் இருக்கும் விஷயங்கள் இன்னும் உண்மை.

என்னோட கனவுகள் இரண்டு வகை. பயமுறுத்தும் கனவுகள். பரவசமூட்டும் கனவுகள்.

பயமுறுத்தும் கனவுகள் எல்லாம் vadivelu comedy வகை. எப்பொழுதும் நான் அடி வாங்குவதிலேயே முடியும். பிடித்தவர்கள், பிடிக்காதவர்கள், நண்பர்கள், எதிரிகள் என்று எல்லோரும் கூட்டமாக வந்து என்னை குமுறு குமுறு என்று குமுறிவிட்டு சந்தோஷமாக போவார்கள். எதற்க்கு வந்தார்கள், ஏன் குமுறினார்கள் என்று அவர்களுக்கும் தெரியாது, எனக்கும் புரியாது. அடி தாங்க முடியாமல் நான் திடுக்கிட்டு விழித்து அப்பாடா உயிரோட தான் இருக்கோம் என்று ஆசுவாச படுத்திக்கொள்ளும் போதுதான் முடியும்.

So எவ்ளோ சீக்கிரம் விழிக்கிறேனோ, அவ்ளோ அடி மிச்சம்.

கனவு முடிந்ததே என்று இருக்கும்.

பரவசமூட்டும் கனவுகள் எல்லாம் fazil movie climax வகை. எப்பொழுதும் சோக scena-laye முடியும். நான் பேச விரும்பி பேசாமலேயே இருக்கும் பெண்களின் நட்பில் தான் இந்த கனவுகள் ஆரம்பிக்கும். நட்பு நடந்து நடந்து காதலாகி, காதல் கைமா ஆகும்போது தான் முடியும். எப்பொழுதுமே எதோ சூழ்நிலை காரணமாக இருவரும் பிரிந்து விடுவோம். ஏன் பிரிகிறோம் என்று அவர்களுக்கும் தெரியாது, எனக்கும் புரியாது. வலி தாங்க முடியாமல் விழித்து அய்யோ என்றிருக்கும் போதுதான் முடியும்.

So எவ்ளோ நேரம் விழிக்காமல் இருக்கேனோ அவ்ளோ காதல் மிச்சம்.

கனவாகவே முடிந்ததே என்று இருக்கும்.

Shooting Enga Iruku Meeting Enga Iruku

Background: All of us (five) are frustrated with the current project. All of sudden there was a major shuffling in the client's top management team. So our project had 50% probability for getting scrappped. We were all eagerly waiting for client's announcement.

Day: Last monday (early afternoon)

Scene: Our PL suddenly called all of us and told that the relationship manager is calling for a urgent meeting. He had a tense face. We all gathered at a place. All had an irresistable smile on our faces. RM is calling for a sudden meeting and our PL is little bit tensed and we assumed that the reason is obvious. It should be the announcement of scrap.

I: Project scrap-nu RM announce pannina udaneye treat-ku porom. RM-yum kootitu porom. Saapatalaye adikarom.

G: Udane treat than.
D: Aman.

K: Nan unnaku treat tharen. Nee avanuku treat kudu. Ellarum ellarukum treat kuduthukalam. ithuku peru edho iruke??.

I: dutch treat...
K: Yes...idhu vanthu ellarum aduthavangaluku kodukara dutch treat.
D: R enga??
G: Avan yedho client meeting-la busy-a irukaan

I: Avan kuduthu vachathu avlo than...Indha news-a suda suda ketka avan kuduthu vaikala...

I: Appadi irundha yen RM namba ellarayum koopidanum. He can just call our PL and inform him right. So it must be something big.

All: Yes

By this time our PL was searching for the conference room that RM has mentioned about for assembling. At last he found and called us.

We all reached there and saw a person standing with a cam corder along with the RM. RM told that they are making a movie on the completion of 1 year with this client. So he is calling all the team seperately and making a small movie clip. And we are asked to give a small introduction about ourself and our work here.

All our enthu went down like a busted balloon. We completed that and came back.

PL came near to me and told, "bharani, he (RM) told me to come for shooting only. I only misinterpreted shooting for meeting. Sorry pa. Since we are waiting for the client's decision on our project, i heard it as meeting.

I thought, Yen-ya shooting enga iruku, meeting enga iruku....adhu eppadi shooting meeting-nu unnoda kaadhula vizhum...oru 5 nimisham enga life-la velayaditiye-ya...

I came and shared it with others and we were laughing like anything...uncontrollably....

After few minutes, i and my friend talked about it in chat....Here is that

ஒரு விரைவு ரயில் வேகமாக வருகிறது. சட்டென்று அவன் எகிறிக்கொண்டு அதன் முன் குதித்துவிடுகிறான்.

இடம்: மேற்கு மாம்பலத்தில் ஒரு திருமண மண்டபம்.

அவள்: நானே புடவை கட்டிகிறேண்டி. கொஞ்சம் வெளிய இருங்க.

அவர்கள்: யேய் கல்யாண பொண்ணு, நாங்க கட்டிவிட்டா நல்லா இருக்காதா...

சிரிப்பு

அவள்: ப்ளீஸ் டீ. கொஞ்ச நேரம் வெளிய இருங்க. நான் சீக்கிறம் கட்டிகிட்டு வரேன்.

ISO becomes suspicious. Key found. ISO checks the baggage, Check completed.

ISO: thanks a lot for the cooperation. you can move

he: thanks.

He picks baggage. Move.

ISO: excuse me, could you please come for a personal check

he: Oh

ISO: sorry for the incovenience.

கருத்து

என்னடா நம்ம blog ஒரே monotonous-ஆ போகுதே, என்ன பண்ணலாம்னு யோசிச்சி, சரி எதைப்பற்றியாவது என்னுடைய கருத்தை எழுதலாம்னு ஆரம்பிச்சேன். ஆனா

எனக்கு எதை பற்றியுமே ஒரு நிலையான கருத்து கிடையாது. என்னுடைய கருத்துக்கள் மாறிக்கொண்டேயிருப்பவை. நான் பார்ப்பது, கேட்பது, படிப்பது, உணர்வது, அனுபவிப்பது ஆகியவற்றை பொருத்தும், என் பிறப்பு, வளர்ப்பு, சூழ்நிலை, attitude, சுற்றியுள்ள மனிதர்கள், இன்னபிற விஷயங்களை பொறுத்து அவை மாறிக்கொண்டே இருக்கின்றன. இந்த விஷயத்தில் இதுதான் என் கருத்து என்று எதையுமே என்னால் முடிவாக சொல்ல முடியாது.

எது சரியான கருத்து என்பதிலும் எனக்குள் நிறைய கருத்து வேறுபாடுகள் உண்டு. ஒரு விஷயத்தை பற்றியே என்னிடம் ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட முரண்பாடான கருத்துக்கள் உண்டு. இதில் எந்த கருத்தை தேர்வு செய்து என்னுடைய கருத்தாக சொல்வது என்பதில் இன்னும் குழப்பம்.

கருத்து இருக்கு என்பதானாலேயே என்னால் எல்லா இடத்திலும் அதை சொல்ல முடிகிறதா என்ன?. எல்லோரிடமும் என்னை நல்லவனாக காட்டிக்கொள்வதற்காக நான் திரித்து சொல்லும் கருத்துக்கள், நண்பர்கள் மனம் கோனக்கூடாது என்பதற்க்காக அவர்கள் சொல்வதையே என்னுடையதாய் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் கருத்துக்கள், என்னைவிட வலியவருடன் பகைமை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ளாமல் இருக்க நான் சொல்லாமலே விட்டுவிடும் கருத்துக்கள் என ஆயிரம் சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் என்னுடைய கருத்து வேரு வேரு உருவம் மாற்றிக்கொள்ளும்.

பல நேரங்களில் கருத்து சொல்வதோடு என் கடமை முடிந்துவிடுகிறது. குழந்தை தொழிலாளிகள் கூடாது என்பதுதான் என் கருத்தும். ஆனால் உணவகம் சென்று உணவருந்தும்போது வந்து மேஜை துடைக்கும் சிறுவர்களை பார்த்துவிட்டும் அமைதியாகத்தான் வீடு திரும்புகிறேன், ஒவ்வொருதடவையும்.

எனக்கு என்ன தோன்றுகிறதென்றால்,

கருத்து சொல்பர்களும், கருத்து கேட்பவர்களும் அடுத்த வேளை உணவிற்கு என்ன செய்வது என்ற கவலையில்லாதவர்கள். அடுத்த வேளை உணவிற்கு என்ன செய்வது என்று யோசிப்பவர்கள் கருத்து சொல்வதுமில்லை, அவர்களிடம் கருத்து கேட்கப்படுவதுமில்லை.

என் இனிய blog மக்களே,

All of you might have escaped from my crap for the last 3 weeks. But happier moments dont last so long. What do to...உங்க தலைவிதி அப்படி :)

due to some erratic conditions in the planetary positions, i am now in the opposite side of the planet. Its all happened suddenly two weeks back. They called me on thrusday and asked to fly on saturday. Somehow i tried to update the blog, but unfortunately not able to do so. Finally settled down and writing this post.

புது இடம், புது மக்கள்..கொஞ்சம் கஷ்டமாத்தான் இருக்கு. But will make a point to read your blogs, missed them really (very honest statement).

அக்கறையுடன் விசாரித்த அஸின் ஜொள்ளர்கள் மன்ற தலைவர் கார்த்திக்கும், காணாமல் போனவர்கள் listல் சேர்த்த சசிபிரபா அவர்களுக்கும் நன்றியை தெரிவித்து கொள்கிறேன்.

தெய்வங்கள் இப்படித்தான் பூமிக்கு வருகின்றன

I was reading an article about a lady Kanagamani in vikatan.

She was born blind on April 1st. Lost her father when she was 1. Her mother took the entire responsibility of bringing her up. When she joined school, everyone teased her.."what a bind girl can do". Only Mr. Subramaniyan ,one of her teacher, and her mother took the task in their hands and encouraged her to do well in her studies. Her mother used to read the lessons loudly, which she listened and learnt things. She was topper in maths and english in her board exams.

Now she holds degrees in B.A Economics, M.A Economics, M.Phil, M.A Sociology...and has applied for M.B.A in Alagappa university. She is working as telephone operator in TNSC bank...and moved to very higher position in life...Sadly, she lost her mother also...she was not there to see the success of her daughter...

Padikum pothu kan kalangidichi.....Instead of reading the biographies of leaders and other stuff, these kinds of news really make me to see life in a positive frame of mind. When i see, hear, read about people, who are living with us in the same world, fighting against the odds, help me in coming out of my depressed state of mind...they are really inspiring

We went to karur for a friend's marriage. After marriage two of my friends took a government bus to chennai at around 8-o clock in the morning. They got only last seat and the summer was at its peak. The bus was moving so slow that even bullock carts started overtaking the bus. My friends got frustrated and after 2 hours they realised that they have not even moved few kilometers from the place they boarded. So when the bus stopped at a place, they tried getting down. At that time the conductor stopped them and asked

என்ன தம்பி, madrasக்கு டிக்கெட் எடுத்துட்டு இங்கயே எறங்கறீங்க

உடனே நம்ம பசங்க "எங்களுக்கு madras-la கொஞ்சம் urgent வேலை இருக்கு..நாங்க சீக்கிறம் முன்னாடி போறோம். நீங்க பொறுமையா வந்து சேருங்க.."

We friends went to a hotel for lunch few days back..We went there by 1.30 and ordered the starters. We saw people coming, having their foods and going....since we were chatting after a long time we didnot notice the time ...and soon by seeing the people next to us having the food...we became hungry...and saw the time...it was 2.30...we got frustrated and shouted at the waiter there. He also shouted back at us இங்க எதுவும் ரெடியா இருக்காது சார். நீங்க ஆர்டர் குடுத்ததுக்கு அப்பறம்தான் ரெடி பண்ணுவோம். அதுக்கு கொஞ்சம் லேட் ஆகத்தான் செய்யும்.

After which we were silent and had our lunch and finished at aound 3.45. Then the bill came. We didnot pay for it, but kept of chatting....there were other people waiting for their turn...so after 15 min the waiter came to us and asked for the payment. உடனே நம்ம பசங்க, எங்ககிட்ட பணம் ரெடியா இருக்காது சார். நீங்க bill குடுத்ததுக்கு அப்பறம்தான் ரெடி பண்ணுவோம். அதுக்கு கொஞ்சம் லேட் ஆகத்தான் செய்யும்.

Genius Formula

I was reading Greatness Guide by Robin Sharma. In one chapter he talks about formula to become a genius. It goes like this

"Focus on a area or skill and work on it with relentless devotion to daily improvement and passion for excellence..Within 3 to 5 years you will be operating with a competence level where people call you genius". The formula is

Focus + Daily improvement + Time = Genius

And he quotes lot of incidents...One is

A lady asked Picasso, "Mr.Picasson...I am a big fan. Could you please draw me a small piece of art" and she gives him a small piece of paper.

He draws and gives to her saying "That will be millon dollars".

"But Mr.Picasso you took only 30 seconds to do this masterpiece".

He replies, "Dear lady, it took me 30 years to do that masterpiece in 30 seconds".

How true it is. With our focus and working towards daily improvement, one day we will be the masters.....

Thats how it happened to all of us right..We started studying maths at L.K.G....and slowly with more passion we did maths in all the classes....and suddenly we scored 100 in +2 results....And people called us "kanakula puli-pa"....

And somehow we lost this formula and have not applied after we have grown up...Lets start a fresh...And be Genius-es.

Couple of days back, when i was standing in the terrace of my office building, i saw one of my collegue going for smoking. I sent an SMS ,"over dhum adikateenga..udabmuku othukathu". It seems like he doesn't have my mobile number..and he doesn't care about it.

Today again i saw him going for "dhum", so i sent the same message again. He mistook it that some girl is sending him these messages. Sometime afternoon, he called me from his mobile. At that time, i was in another call with client, so i have not attended his call. But he again mistook that i am trying to disguise myself by avoding his calls. So he called me from another number (puthisali thanama yosikararam), by this time i was finished with the client call, so i attended this call.

He: Who is this speaking? (male voise - vera yarayo vittu pesa solluthu ponnu)
Me: Who are you calling man (konjam kadupa...namaku phone pannitu nambala yarunu ketkaran)
He: So and so...got a msg from this number
Me: This is bharani, whatz ur name ( i dont remember the msg-sent-situation as i was occupied with some other thought)

She is my sister's daughter. See how cutely she is laughing....

But the second she sees my face, she starts crying. I was reading some hykoos by ThabhooShankar yesterday. I have been reading his from 90s when he started writing hykoos( or i came to know about him ). Everything is about love. I think his one and only forte is love. So far he has never tried anything other than love...

Whenever there is valentine's day issue of magazines, you can definitely see his hykoos. All love sometimes makes you so boring of reading him....but betweeen those thousands....u will really find few which will strike a chord in your heart.

I still remember when i first read his hykoos. It was a Kadhalar Special issue from vikatan..where they have sprinkled the hykoos from his first book "Vetkathai Kettal Enna Tharuvai".

How true is the last line. It is definitely not possible that we create a complete lesson on our own in the short span of life...

We always keep on filling the existing void in life. Sometime we fill the blanks perfectly, most of the time the blanks are too large or too small for us. Either we adjust or we keep on searching for blanks on which we can fit.

I went to my native on a three day vacation to see my mother. My maternal grandma and grandpa are there and this time my mother's presence made it a memorable one. I get "maharaja" treatment whenever i go to my native, as both my grandma and grandma love me so much. It is not because i am their first grandson, it is more because they have brought me up from my childhood (My mother has given me to my parents when i am 8 months old- That’s a big story).

Only thing i do whenever i go there is eat and sleep. Nothing much. Even for having my food, they will give me water to wash my hands in a separate plate, have food and again wash my hands in the same plate..relax and go to sleep again...Raja vazhkai...

My grandparents narrate all the happenings between my last visit and this time, they both used to tease each others. That too when my grandpa take drinks (which he usually does) he become too emotional. He will tell all the stories about how i was in my childhood, how i should take care of myself, how my wife should be like...all those sweet nothings...

He remembers the time where he used to take me to my school in the morning and my grandma prepares lunch and brings hot and fresh food everyday..

He used to tell me, even now when my headmistress sees him, she asks how Bharani is doing. Even the servant maid in that school used to ask my grandma the same question whenever she sees her. My mother asked me do u remember them? How can I forget them? They are the ones who taught me the initial interactions with the world.

I feel really happy when so many people still remember me and ask about me where i have not done anything special to them...

One boring (or interesting) aspect of all these talks is my marriage. Though i tell the same excuse of "after 27", he used to keep on pressing me.

He used to ask me Are u looking any girl. If yes tell me, i will do the necessary arrangements. Un manasuku pudichi iruntha pothum da. Vera ethai pathiyum kavalai padathe....

He used to tease me that, when i am in my childhood, if he takes me to shop and show me 50 paisa chocolate and ask me to take it, i usually ask for 5 star.

Appaaye unnoda aasai ellam perusuda. Then some time in 16 or 17teens when he asked about what kind of wife i want, i had told him that my wife should be slightly intelligent that me..

I used to feel i am in top of the world when i am with them. No one can evey say anything ill of me when i am with them...

I remember the days when my grandma used to give money whenever i go there and return to chennai. Now i am happily repaying them. Even now she says, ஏண்டா எனக்கு காசு, நீ வச்சி உன் உடம்ப பார்த்துக்க....

After all these days, i will be at the utter most sadness when i return to chennai...
But life is that way.... Tasting few drops of happiness when u r sailing in ocean of hurdles

I used to keep on saying these lines when i was in school. But it seems that lot of bad things happened in my family all of sudden, after that whenever i say this, my aunt became very angry with me...

"Ippadi solratha mudhala niruthu...ellam nalla padiya nadakum"..

I have stopped saying these lines in my house. But somehow i feel these lines tells the exact nature of life...

I can say it was Vairamuthu's way of saying "Survival of the fittest"

Mythreyi Mangal

Though I have a dozen of brothers and couple of sisters, my sister Narmadha stands out of them. She somehow resembles me, at least in terms of studiousness.

Whenever I go to her place, she is definitely with a book. Till now I have not seen her without her books. And she loves to study in a place which is more chaotic (One of the biggest resemblance with me).

I was a proud person of my family circle because I hold the record for the highest 10, +2 marks and now into a very good position by joining TCS. And now all these are history.

She had beaten my 10th and +2 marks by a massive margin. She joined the premier Anna University (which I was not able to achieve) and now got a scholarship from the Hinduja group (which is also I was not able to).

At the end of engineering, she will definitely be gold medalist from Anna University and end up in a big company with a huge salary.

What I personally feel, she should get into IIM for MBA, which was also my dream.

I have started calling her Padips, which makes her angry.

Anna, enna padipsnu sollatheenga..Athuvum adhai neenga solla koodathu.

May god be with her in all her future endeavours..

My favourite song - today is ஏதேதோ எண்ணங்கள் from Pattiyal.

Though i religiously hate Yuvan singing songs in this movies, there are few songs which perfectly suits his voice.

The latest one is this. My previous favourite is Eno Kangal from Kalvanin Kadhali.

Now a days he has started singing 3 out of 5 songs in his compositions. Even in அழகாய் இருக்கிறாய் பயமாய் இருக்கிறது, he has given voice to 4 out of 5 songs. I think someone is wrongly advicing him about his voice.

But this song from pattiyal exactly suits his voice. The way it is picturised, the lyrics by Pa.Vijay, everything adds to the beauty of the song.

Just listen once....U will never change to other track for a while...

Though i am a religious hater of tamil TV Serials, i am great lover of the title songs of the serials. Some of the serials have excellent songs (Dont forget: Lyrics attracts me more that music).

I think the trend was started by Chitti (Kannin mani) and Krishnadasi (Sigaram Parthai). My personal favorite is krishnadasi where Imman has done a wonderful piece of music. He was not into films at that time.

But i remember even before these trends, the songs of K.B are exceptionally good. Remember the

and the Kadhal pagadai songs. And the serials of AVM, where vairmuthu is default lyric writer, SPB is singer and chandrabose is the music director (Nimmadhi Nimmadhi Ungal Choice).

Even when Vikatan started producing serials, Yuvan was the standard music director. At that Yuvan was not famous. The songs which he composed for those serials will actually tell the reason for his fame now. He showed lot of potential at that time itself.

One Pei serial song,

Heard about Yugabharathi?

He is one of my favorite my time poet. His modern poems are quite fresh to read and the way he handles chosen topic is really good.

I remember a poem where he compares his poem writing skills with his father's "vetrilai" chewing skills. The entire poem goes that his poem writing skills are more superior to his father's chewing skills.

But the poem ends like this

முடிந்ததில்லை என் கவிதை

You might recognize him if I mention some of his movie songs. I think he started with Palaang guzhiyin from Anandham.

He has written only few of them..all are equally good and fresh...and my favorite is Kana kandenadi from Parthiban kanavu. His recent is the "Dhavani pota" is a chartbuster.

But I am not able to read him poems after he moved to film industry..It is the fate of film industry that it takes the best person into it and slowly makes them to forget the best of them...

I hope it should not happen to Yuga.

Way to go man.

Random Thoughts

I was reading a crime novel by Rajeshkumar. There are some random thoughts (Thathuvams) sprinkled at the start of each section.

These 2 are the ones which made me think for a longer time.

கடவுள் பாவிகளை மன்னித்துவிடுகிறார்.

One more to the list

Apart from the opposite sex attracts law, my turn on is the "Intelligence of a girl".

Somehow I admire girls who bubbles with intelligence and enthusiasm. There is a long list of intelligent girls who i admire and the latest one is here.

I was watching "Arattai Arangam" in SUN TV, yesterday. There is a girl "Uma Maheswari", talked about how women themselves are responsible for the failure of women.

I have seen many girls who always have this foul cry of "only men" are responsible for all the illness of women. I hate when i hear and avoid reading these kinds of stuff.

But it was a pleasant surprise that she has taken a different route and spoken very spontaneously. They way she had designed her speech, the points she took to prove the idea, the way she counter attacked is really nice experience to watch.

Somehow I was attracted by her (Add one more to the list mamu....).

And one point which is the highlight of her entire speech is this

Today I was taken back by surprise by this incident.

I called TATA Indicom Customer care to enquire about Walky Life Prepaid connection. I am doing the same for couple of days to get it installed as soon as possible.

But when I called today, I heard a voice

வணக்கம் நான் மஞ்சுளா பேசுகிறேன்.
நான் தங்களுக்கு எவ்வாறு உதவ முடியும்.

Though she was not able to continue with the same fluency in Tamil, the effort is 1000 times appreciable.

Power of Power

Students of IIT have floated a political party PARITRANA , and had their first press conference in Delhi.

Being seen all kind of parties and political drama, lets join hands to welcome this one, just because it is formed by people from premier education institution of India. Let’s wish this party grows and capture the Indian constituency one day, in our lifetime itself.

They might have floated this party after frustrated by the current politics. They have high ideologies at this point of time. They have lots of ideas and plans; they can do to the people of India, thereby taking India to new heights. But I am not sure will they retain the same values, if at all, when they come to power. The power of power, particularly in politics, is to turn even the best people to their worst.

I remember an incident of my high school days.

When I was studying 11th std, the 12th students were so misbehaving and there were lot of problems in the school. One day, I asked my physics teacher Ramamani, why these +2 students are so misbehaving while we, the +1, students are so quite and studious.

She replied, "That’s not their fault, when u come and sit in those benches, u will be the same". That is 100% true. When we came to +2, we created more problems that our seniors, which led some teachers in their resignation also. That is the power of power.

People don’t realize this till the point they come to power. As soon as they reach there, all the ideologies they held till that point of time holds no good. They will start creating new ones for the rest of the period.

I wish that should not happen with this party. All the very best to "Paritrana".

Dreams Unlimited

Usually I go to sleep around 10.30 to 11.00 in the night. Till 2 will be in sound sleep. Usually my sleep at this time will not be disturbed by TV sound, brightness of light, discussion of my family members unless they are exceptionally high.

But I will wake up around 2. Mostly I will have strange dream, and I reach a point where I cannot stand the intensity of the dream, so I wake up, look for my mobile phone to see the time. 99% percent it will be around 2. After that point I will be a semi-conscious sleep. Mostly dreams will occupy my sleep from 2 to 5.30 (I finally getup from my bed at this time. If I wake up early, others will be disturbed. So I will stay in my mattress till 5.30).

I donno whether I can say that this period is dream, becoz most of the time I am aware of the happenings in my brain.

The entire process itself is so systematic, it happens the same way every day.

After I see the time and go to sleep again, only the body will put to rest, the brain remains awake. It just starts activity one cell at a time. slowly some person will start entering my dream theatre, slowly slowly , one by one, people start entering and will start playing their part, all the leading to situation they take action to fulfill my unfulfilled desires.

All the time people, I see in my dreams are those about whom I read about, persons who I don’t like, persons I like but haven’t talked to them, my friends. There won’t be any famous personalities or my family members in my dream. Usually it will be only the above mentioned people, mostly people I like but haven’t talked.

And most of the time, the themes of my dream will be like
1. Becoming friend with the person to whom I wanted to talk in my real life, we become so close
2. Becoming friend with the person I hate
3. Situations will lead to a point where my most longing desire is going to be fulfilled (like an onsite oppr), and usually I wake up at the point when it is going to be fulfilled and realize that it is only dream. A sudden sadness engulfs me at the start of the day itself. The entire day I will be the lost mood.

There will not be any change in this process. I donno why it is happening. May be I am an a introvert, May be I don’t have many friends to share my feelings, May be I don’t have that much guts to do the things I like, May be I have so much desires than an a normal person.

I have the desire to live the life in the way I want, but practicality is not allowing, at least at this point of time.

May be after sometime I can lead the life the way I want or die before that.

My Favourite - Movie Songs

One of few things that make my life interesting, in a otherwise veru dull life, is the film songs, especially tamil movie songs. i look for only songs in a film, not its music director. So even if a non-known music director gives a good song (good for me to listen), i will keep on listening.

As oppose to many ppl, what catches me the most in a song is its lyrics rather than the music. There are times where the music is so pathetic to hear, but the lyrics in it will be so good, because of it will come under my favorite list.

Having said that, these are few lines from the currently running tamil movies, which are really good.

In dishyum, the nenjangootil song itself is too good. But this line tells the pain of the patience of a lover waiting to tell his love to her lover.

"Febraury masathula nallu onnu koodi vara, aandu nallu kathirukum athu pola".

On thathuvum list of songs, vairamuthu always stands tall. I am his great admirer,

"Brain than enna solgiratho
heart use panni seiven

In Aadhi, i love the "lelaku lelaku" song, which has these lines

Sunday Evenings & Monday Mornings

The most boring time of a week, at least to me, are Sunday evenings & Monday mornings. Sometimes there may be slight possibility of having a nice Sunday evenings (when I go out with my best buddies), but all Monday mornings are the same.

U feel some kind of restlessness on Monday morning even u don’t have any work to do..(may be having nothing to do in Monday morning itself would have caused that restlessness)...

Usually my Sunday goes like this, get up at 6 (no look at me with the "r u nuts" looks, I has became a routine to get on or before 6), read newspaper, have BF(break fast pa), watch TV, read some magazines, have lunch, sleep...Till this time, everything goes fine...

Only after that the real awkwardness begins, once I get up from sleep, I feel very weird. I don’t understand why it usually happens on Sunday evenings....I will sit idle till I go to sleep again (it takes at least 12 as I have slept in the afternoon)...

as usual get up 6 in the morning (Monday), I will have the hangover of Sunday evening...get ready and come to office....In office I don’t have anything to do...so browse...and kill time...

This cycle will break only in Monday evening..when I go to Japanese class (yes I joined 2 weeks back..really interesting)...

Then goes Tuesday, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sunday....and here comes the same devil.

It happens to all

It happens to all. No one can say that this has not happened to them. Even the most successful achievers should have encountered this.

What i am saying is, when u plan to start some work (going to GYM, learning a new language, take resolutions) which u are interested, u start it with a bang. U continue with the same enthusiasm for few days. Then u slowly, slowly move away from that. Suddenly one day u realize that u are not doing it for days, months.

U have the guilty feeling that u are not doing it, but u will not make an effort to do it continuously.

After a long time, all of sudden, u start it again, with the resolution that u will do it regularly this time. And u do it for few days. Then u slowly, slowly.......
Yes. The cycle continues.

The same happened for me : The activity is blogging.
I started that i will update it on daily basis.....blah blah blah...

Winners are ones those who break this vicious cycle. Average person is one who strict to this cycle.

I am an average man.
